We can assess against the following Unit Standards which are part of the training and competency model:
Unit Standards form the basis of the Waka Kotahi warrants and will generally be registered where the prerequisites have been completed during the training and Assessment completed with McAdams. We are able to Train, Mentor, Verify and Assess the following Unit Standards.
||Demonstrate knowledge of working safely as a general worker on a worksite under temporary traffic management
||Explain the role of and operate as a TTM worker on the worksite under temporary traffic management
||Demonstrate knowledge of stakeholders and operational requirements for temporary traffic management
||Maintain the worksite under temporary traffic management
||Explain the requirements for the worksite under temporary traffic management
||Explain the requirements for the worksite under temporary traffic management for a road environment as defined in CoPTTM
||Operate as a practising Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) within a road environment as defined in CoPTTM

When Unit Standards 31958 to 31963 have been successfully completed the New Zealand Certificate in Temporary Traffic Worksite Management (Level 3) can be awarded.
Are you an existing STMS/TC and want to complete the Unit Standards? The process for you is slightly different if you want the Unit Standards. We can work with you to achieve these without having to attend all training workshops from scratch. The process will require you to complete the theory assessment US 31962 which we can assist working you through and then also complete the practical tasks of US 31963 and 31960 (Must complete the verification tasks and the Assessed tasks for these).

Existing STMS wanting the STMS Practising new warrant
Will create a combined assessment with the practical tasks for US 31958 TTM Worker, 31960 TMO Practising & 31963 STMS Practising.
