Perform Mobile Operations within the Road Reserve

The training day provides both theory knowledge and on the road instruction for people who perform mobile operations for temporary traffic management (TTM) in the road reserve.
When you have achieved the required standards for this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the requirements for a mobile operation for TTM
  • Perform mobile operations within the road reserve

Topics include:

  • Common issues that affect mobile operations
  • Vehicle types, functions, requirements and risks
  • Roles and responsibilities of personnel
  • Vehicle positioning in alignment with Traffic Management Plan (TMP) requirements
  • Supervision and briefings
  • Communicating changing onsite conditions
  • Safe practises and operation in line with organisation requirements

Workshop includes:

  • Handbook
  • Morning tea and Lunch

Please bring:

  • PPE Gear including high-vis vest and safety boots

Entry requirements:

There is no prerequisite. However, a learner must have the support of their workplace to gain experience required for the work-based activities. This is required to achieve the qualification.
