Assist with temporary traffic management within the road reserve

The training day provides theory knowledge, and on-the-road assessments for people who assist with the installation, operation, maintenance, and uplift of temporary traffic management (TTM) within the road reserve.

Topics include:

  • Common hazards and how they cause harm
  • Practical assistance with installation, maintenance and removal of TTM
  • Site communication and following directions
  • Following organisational and Traffic Management Plan (TMP) requirements
  • Safe practises around approaching traffic
  • Active control for vulnerable road users and vehicle movements

Workshop includes:

  • Handbook
  • Morning tea and Lunch

Please bring:

  • PPE Gear including high-vis vest, cut resistant gloves and safety boots

Entry requirements:

There is no prerequisite. However, a learner must have the support of their workplace to gain experience required for the work-based activities. This is required to achieve the qualification.
