This one-day workshop focuses on updates an STMS needs to know and understand about working in a risk-based environment under the NZ Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM). Participants will engage with worked examples and discussions on hazard and risk identification.

• Roles and responsibilities under the NZGTTM framework
• Understanding the NZGTTM TMP
• Understanding, identifying and documenting hazards and risks on site
• Briefing the crew on hazards, risks and controls
• Hands-on risk assessment exercises
• Importance of following the TMP and accurate records
